Dev Cards app for iPhone and iPad

While studying iOS development I found that although I understood the individual concepts and syntax I was having a hard time remembering so many details. I worried that when I started developing my own app I would find myself totally bogged down, having to look up all sorts of things that an experienced developer knows intuitively. I thought flash cards might help, and that led me to the idea for this app.

So, while I am offering this app to you, I really created it for me, so that I could use it to cement this information into my memory.  As I studied, I added questions and answers that I wanted to remember.  And now, Dev Cards has more than 650 questions in six categories and provides three fun ways to quickly build confidence and knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, iOS, and Xcode:

1.Flash Cards: the traditional method to practice and learn.
2.True/False Quiz: can you tell if the displayed “answer” is correct or not?
3.Multiple Choice Test: with each question displaying five possible answers choosing the correct one really exercises your understanding.

Dev Cards gives you the correct answer when needed, and often provides useful insights and information about programming and development with each flash card or question.

And, Dev Cards supports Spaced Repetition, so the questions you are familiar with are automatically hidden for later quizzes and tests to help cement the knowledge in your long-term memory.

No, Dev Cards will not replace your coursework, study, programming experience, learning through creating your own apps, and debugging them. Dev Cards provides a convenient and fun way for you to practice and grow your knowledge as you sit in the coffee shop or the train.
